These LUTs expect SDR Rec.709 footage. On supported models, iPhone records video in HDR. To turn off HDR recording, go to Settings > Camera > Record Video, then turn off HDR Video. On Android, turn off the HDR10+ or HDR video switch if your camera app has one. For HDR, HLG, Dolby Vision or Apple Log clips you already shot, convert to Rec.709 in your editor first, then apply the look. Skip this and the colours come out completely different from this preview.
A LUT moves every pixel by the same rule and does not know which light it is looking at. Golden Hour Glow on noon daylight skin (#E0AC8C) pushes red to the limit (#FFBD8E). Noon Sun Tame on the same skin gives #C0A18D and lifts the shadow from #23262D to #3E4045. In-app phone filters stay inside that app and do not export as a .cube your editor loads.
Menu names differ by version and UI language. The .xmp presets carry exposure, contrast, saturation and a white-balance shift for JPEG/HEIC photos; lift, gamma and gain live in the .cube files.
