To use this in Revit: 1) start a new Generic Model family, 2) Insert > Import CAD and pick this .dxf, 3) set the import units to millimeters - every coordinate in this file is mm and 1 in = 25.4 mm exactly, 4) save the family and Load into Project. What does NOT come across the import: parameters, formulas, types and constraints - this is a set of dimensionally accurate blocks, not a parametric family, and it is sold as blocks. What you gain instead: the same file opens in AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, LibreCAD, Fusion and anything else that reads DXF (AC1024), so one library serves the whole office instead of one seat. The file is written with $INSUNITS = 4 (millimeters) so an inch drawing scales it on insert; if your host drawing is unitless (INSUNITS = 0) insert at 0.03937008 = 1/25.4. If drawing, dimensioning and code-checking one jamb, head or sill detail takes you 15 minutes, these 12 blocks are 3 hours you do not spend. Every manufacturer-dependent number - net clear opening, rough opening allowance, frame face width, header size - is left as a ____ field on purpose, and the R310 section numbers were restructured in the 2018 IRC, so verify the edition your jurisdiction adopted before you sign the sheet.
