A generic template divides days attended by days enrolled. The CDE count first drops students expected to attend fewer than 31 days, then counts a student as chronically absent at 10% or more of the days they were expected to attend. The rate is chronically absent students divided by eligible students. Excused absences count as absences too.
[Days Expected to Attend] - [Days Attended]Plus 5 named sheets and 1 dashboard (Attendance Overview), a sample CSV and a README. The .twb holds no data (a .twbx would): open it in Tableau Desktop or Tableau Public, then use Edit Connection to point it at your CSV. Menu names vary by Tableau version and UI language.
Columns your CSV needs, one row per student: SSID, Student Name, School Name, Grade, Teacher, Days Expected to Attend, Days Attended, Excused Absence Days, Unexcused Absence Days, Instructional Days in Year, Report Date
The ADA value prices absences at the base grant rate; how much reaches your budget depends on your LEA's funded-ADA rules. This page runs in your browser and sends nothing.
