Rule 1 - reference unit
Picks 100 g / 100 ml only where the nominal quantity is 250 or less, otherwise 1 kg / 1 l, as PAngV section 4 requires.
Rule 2 - base price value
Prints the Grundpreis per that unit, VAT included, to two decimals, next to the figure shops print by mistake.
Rule 3 - base price displayed
Flags a listing that shows a pack price with no base price at all, the single most abmahnt price-display defect.
Rule 4 - 30-day reference price
Compares the struck-through price against your own lowest price of the last 30 days, which is the only lawful reference for a reduction.
Rule 5 - advertised percentage
Returns the largest percentage you may advertise and how many points your banner overstates it.
Rule 6 - total price and shipping
Flags a listing with no VAT-inclusive total price and shipping-cost notice, and totals the saving you cannot prove.
