What's inside
- Credit_Card_Tracker_2026_Example.xlsx
- Credit_Card_Tracker_2027_Blank.xlsx
Unlike a printable tracker you fill in by hand, this workbook calculates: log each monthly statement once and the Summary shows the interest and fees you paid this year ($1,831.04 in the example), utilization per card, the next due date and every late payment.
Made for anyone juggling 2 to 10 credit cards: paying down card debt, carrying a 0% balance transfer, or paying an annual fee for a rewards card.
What you get:
- Credit_Card_Tracker_2026_Example.xlsx: a filled example (4 cards, 40 statements)
- Credit_Card_Tracker_2027_Blank.xlsx: the same workbook, empty, set to 2027
Inside:
- Summary: interest + fees per card, utilization against your target, next due date and days left, 4 automatic checks
- Statements: one row per statement; status (paid in full, balance carried, paid late, below minimum, open) calculates
- Payment Calendar: 12 due dates per card, late months in red
- Payoff Plan: avalanche or snowball against minimums only, month by month for up to 360 months; a 0% promo switches to the purchase APR after its end date
- Annual Fees: each fee against the credits you really used
- Room for 10 cards, 600 statements and 50 credits
Why it is different:
- Tracking and payoff in one file: the plan starts from the balances you logged.
- Tested: an independent recount matches all 541 checked values of the example, with zero formula errors.
- Utilization is balance ÷ credit limit, per card and overall.
Format: US Letter, $1,234.56, MM/DD/YYYY. Excel 2019+ / Microsoft 365, Google Sheets, LibreOffice. No macros.
How to use:
- Add your cards once.
- Log each monthly statement and payment.
- Read the Summary and set a monthly amount in the Payoff Plan.
Tracking tool, not financial advice. Interest in the plan is an estimate (balance × APR ÷ 12).
- Fill-in guide in every file: a “Fill in with AI” chapter with ready-made sentences for an AI chat assistant, matched to the template’s fields
