Python 3.10 reached end of life on 1 October 2026; 3.10.22 was the final release and no further security fixes will ship. The cloud runtimes follow: Google Cloud Run functions deprecated python310 on 4 October 2026, Azure Functions ends 3.10 support in October 2026, and AWS Lambda deprecates python3.10 on 31 October 2026. Move pins to Python 3.13 (supported until October 2029).

AWS lists python3.10 as deprecated on 31 October 2026. Creating functions on it is blocked from 29 July 2027 and updating them from 31 August 2027.
Python 3.13 is supported until October 2029 and Python 3.12 until October 2028. On the Azure Functions Linux Consumption plan, 3.12 is the newest version offered.
